ZACHARY TOMCZIK

Zachary was born and raised in Saint Cloud, Minnesota and his community involvement includes earning the Eagle Scout award. In 2015 he moved to North Dakota for college and became a resident of the state in 2019. Zachary is a University of North Dakota alumnus, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honors. In undergrad, Zachary was involved as a Resident Assistant and as a student member of the UND Student Relations Committee. He received the Lillian Elsinga Outstanding Student Leadership Award in 2022. Additionally, Zachary received his juris doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2022.

Zachary has been involved in Grand Forks working for the Grand Forks Park District, at the Grand Forks Withdrawal Management Center as a Detox Advocate, with the UND Medical School, and at the Grand Forks County Courthouse as a Juvenile Drug Court Case Aide. Zachary clerked for the Northeast Central Judicial District during the summer of 2020. He is currently involved with the Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals and is civically and politically engaged in his home district.

In his free time, Zachary enjoys traveling, taking care of his plant collection, playing with his cat, hanging with friends, and going to the lake.

Zachary Tomczik is an associate attorney at Rosenquist Law Office. Zachary clerked with Rosenquist Law Office since January 2021 before joining as an associate in September of 2022. At Rosenquist Law Office, Zachary has concentrated in the areas of criminal defense, probate law, and family law.
